I would suggest starting from basic understanding what is under the hood of the cryptocurrency: what is the blockchain, how various "proofs of" work and so on. I'm on the halfway with the Princeton's "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies" Coursera course and it's really great.
Do you have a link for those courses? I would also love to revieuw them and learn some from it.
