Id like to point out that the scam on the etherdelta exchange showed us how quickly ETN could rise. It went from $.02 to $.21 in 5 hours!!! 4 million sold.
It is horrible all those people lost their money, but it did show us that the market was willing to pay 21 cents in the beginning HOURS!!
That is a really good point, I never thought about it this way. Also whoever bought into the scam must be people with very little knowledge about crypto, as really everyone knows EtherDelta only trades ERC20 tokens. So when the real ETN is in exchanges it will attract those newbies as well as crypto-aware investors!
