I am personally very happy about this thing.
Now, i am not a tech expert, i cant talk about coding and other advance stuff....But to be honest, from my personal point of view, this is great.
Monero is well known in this world. I have read in different sites very good opinions about monero and its features...So it is very successful.
And adding part of that success in Electroneum, will only improve it(and its value).
 So for me, if they are able to take the best parts of other 100 successful coins and implement in Electroneum, i would be very very happy....
So this thing is only added value for Electroneum.

Why now? Well every moment is the best moment for improving this project.
