Expiring the points you collected over several years. Many businesses do that on purpose to fix their balance sheet. Even someone from the GAT team agreed with me that some promos are made unnecessarily difficult and restrictive, so few customers take advantage. There is no guarantee those businesses will they stop trying to do such practices, even with GAT. But it will be easier and more comfortable to redeem those loyalty points.
Even if some of the merchant tokens have an expiry date, at least you can sell these loyalty points now with GAT to someone who wants to use them right away before they are gone.
