How often did you send the pms?
Sending multiple pms is a bad idea, you don't want to spam the admins with same messages, it will only increase their backlog that they are already trying to counter, the best way to go about this is, just send a message once and wait it out, it may take a week or a month but you can will get your account back.
There's no way of knowing whether they have seen the message. I think I've only sent 2 messages but one of them was to correct my previous mistake in not including an email to reset the account too. I wish they would let you know if they have received the message and are looking into things. Maybe thats something to new forum can have is a "seen" button.
