It is kind of novelty to think any compensation will come from Innosilicon. Any compensation for late delivery of A4 previously ? NIL. I have waken up to the fact that my purchase of 3 x A5 (on impulse) was a BIG mistake, knowing my 30K have gone down the drain just days after the purchase. Innosilicon, like new comers to the miners making scene, fails to calculate the diffculty and anticipate the mining rewards before releasing new models to the market. They irresponsibly make and sell without caring that coins mining profit may/will crash to (-). Bitmain is somewhat more responsible in this regards, calculating coins difficulty and profit before offering new batch, whether it's L3+, S9 or D3. I believe they will not release new batch D3 again for some time. I am not in favor of either company but it is my experience monitoring the bahaviours and activities of these companies.
Two weeks after the purchase, I contacted Inno on Skype and have received, slow but coming, responses from a girl by the name of Chloe who is part of the customer service/logistic team. Lately, she disappeared and never responded to my questions about delivery of their FIRST batch of A5, from which my 3 units was ordered. How much profit would I have made had I used that 30K to trade coins since August ?
Sorry but I feel peaceful knowing my 30K have well evaporated than hoping for micracles. If they will deliver by mid to late November (doubt it) my 3 x A5 would merely be paperweight. Customer service does not exist with Inno Silicon or most Chinese companies. Compensation from Innosilcon is a fairytale. The only compensatiom that would be fair to their customers, to the mining communuty and to the crypto world is that they should not be in the business of making these miners, and should never continue making them. If they continue, I will make sure I will set off an alarm to the community, not to buy from them.
