Need some help

with the new updated wallet my balance is shows as 0. even thought the transactions are approved and i can see my balance when I search my wallet address in the blockexplorer

I am running the windows QT.

any help is appriciated

Your coins will show up when necessary blocks are finished downloading. Please use latest bootstrap to sync quickly and always back up your wallet.dat file before using new wallet and bootstrap.

thanks for the reply, but my wallet is fully synced at the time of writing it is at block 1373775 Sad

Go to help debug window click on console and type checkwallet. After that repairwallet and enter. Did you back up your wallet.dat before starting new QT wallet? Sometimes new wallet creates new wallet.dat file. So new wallet dat has no coins. You can replace your current wallet.dat with back up wallet.dat.

I did as you advised i still cant see my balance though i have over 6000 transactions but i got this message

i think i recognize this amount as these are the coins that my previous wallet mined without full sync. but there are other coins there that should show up, but they don't Huh

any other tricks i may try ??

Did you try the latest bootstrap? Your wallet might be on the wrong blockchain.

Use this latest bootstrap. Don't forget to back up your wallet before using bootstrap.

Don't forget to back up wallet or copy paste your wallet.dat somewhere before using bootstrap.

This is what I did after downloading new wallet qt.

1. Back up your wallet. Copy paste your current wallet.dat somewhere.
2. Run new Teslacoin QT and close it.
3. Unzip bootstrap and replace the file on Teslacoin folder.
4. Copy paste your old wallet.dat in Teslacoin folder.
5. Run Teslacoin qt again and do this

How to recover your TES
from an old wallet

First, welcome back to TES Wink

Second, in your wallet, get into the console
(Help > Debug window)

2) Type in:

a) checkwallet
(identifies misspent coins)

then

b) repairwallet
(rectifies the error)

And it should be ok now! Smiley

6. If there's no connection use conf file I uploaded.

7. Wait for few hours to sync.

8. Be patient Smiley

thanks for your help. all that you have mentioned above i have done multiple times before. but the thing that did it for me is the Config file you sent, is seems that i was connecting to the wrong nodes. I just replaced the conf file with the one you attached and my coins are back, though now i only have 1 connection but it is working. so thanks heaps
