I'm not sure what happened to you, but...

1) the rules have been changed; if you don't post,you will not be eligible for that week's airdrop, but you should be able to apply for the next week

2) The developers create the coin, so they have the right to determine the rules they use in giving away their product.
They could ask money in return for them, or in this case, loyalty and assistance in promoting the coin, I don't see a problem with that.
