Technology has more negative effects I think. We seem to be addicted. We really need it. We lose our time to gather with our family since we prefer using a mobile phone to communicate with the family. Our social life nowadays is totally different with the past. Besides there is a research showing that most children today have sight problem because of technology.
Modern life is more transient than it was before. We are forced to use technology in order to remain competitive in the modern world. Problems with vision this is probably a temporary phenomenon. A person is able to adapt to the new conditions and if not children then grandchildren or great-grandchildren will have adapted eyesight to computers.
