I wouldn't say that's the cause of the growth of the bitcoin price. I would say that is one of the methods used to invest in bitcoin right now. BTC dominance has increased a lot in the pat days and is now 61%, so of course that a lot of money is getting out of ICOs and getting into bitcoin, but some "new" money is also coming in directly into bitcoin. As for the cause behind all this, I would agree that it has to be related both with the upcoming fork and the CME futures trading announcement.
