IMO it would be better to put the Global market cap and trading volume above or below the watch list pane. News and Ticker Pane should be in the same size, just add a scroll bar to the News list so that the list won't be long. The numbers are on the right side of the currency, won't bother others, I just prefer to see it on the left to avoid confusion in the first look.
Thanks for your input. How do you use the global market cap and trading volume? I would imagine they help you get an idea of how much activity there is in the market, is that right?
I think the numbers on the right vs. left side of the currency is a difference in style in the US vs. Europe. I'll have to see if I can automatically show that based on your timezone maybe...
