I like your article it's sad that vertcoin has not had any practical use for most people.  I remember when vert was released there was also this other crypto that specifically targets use for shady transactions and that coin did really well in crypto market. ASIC resistance also has not had to manifest its merit since there are always other gpu coin more profitable to mine than vertcoin.Only tech savvy people such as yourself see the merit in lightning and atomic swap. I must admit I gave up on the coin from commercial point of view, but I just love the idea behind it so much I never sold any of my stash and continue to run a node. It's truly a people's coin and that's why the coin attract good developers symphatetic to the cause. For a coin that does really badly in trading and thus very little incentive to the devs the maintanance done on the coin is amazing.
