ETH seems promising, it's like the next bitcoin but no one could actually tell that. You can take the risk but you can also play it safe by allotting your investments to what you think will become profitable. By now, ETH is like the "bitcoin" before, but who knows, really.
I think it's the closest to achieving the potential of Bitcoin but not quite there and doesn't have the news coverage right now to do it.
The Ethereum price are decreasing by the power of the Bitcoin price. Ethereum is also an altcoins and like other altcoins, it also affected by Bitcoin recently. But, if you have money, don't ignore the current price of Etherum, in my opinion, you will have profits when the altcoin market recover after hardfork of Bitcoin.
