Typical banks, will they ever take Bitcoin seriously?
Some institutions will eventually take cryptocurrencies seriously. In fact, the upcoming Segwit2x fork is being orchestrated by a group that includes former government and banking executives. They are seeing Bitcoins potential and want the fork to take control of Bitcoin. As they say, money talks and as people see how expensive a Bitcoin has become and how high the market cap is, they are starting to notice it and realize there is something to it. Now they want to take it over.
