You are right it is very important to have the proper information about the bitcoin and the trading so if you are good at the trading means you are aware of the ups and downs of the bitcoin trading hen you can never get the lose but I case f the insufficient information and the knowledge you can get the huge dump so I would like to say that you should search about the bitcoin and should collect the information.
For this only, it is often been advised here and at many other platforms, to get maximum of knowledge as you can regarding bitcoin trading. Actually when you dont know much about it, then you can go in dips and been panic and loss is there for you.
Better is, when you are starting trading or investing in bitcoin, it is quite better to make do your homework for better future.
