As per forum policy staff do not moderate scams or potential scammers. However, as already mentioned I have already left him negative feedback. I wouldn't be against certain restrictions like removing the ability to self-moderate in the marketplace etc (or maybe only certain higher ranks have the ability to do so), but people are ultimately resoponsible for their own money and shouldn't be sending it to random people on the internet in the first place. I guess sometimes people just have to learn the hard way.
I did see you left him negative trust and I do appreciate that. I do think that removing the ability to self-moderate (unless reputable) would be a huge step in stopping these scammers from exploiting that system. Again, of course banning users etc wont work, they can make a new account. But my concern is mainly the methods they are exploiting to consistently be most recent and locking their threads so people can't warn others of their scam etc.
Bitcoin is growing more and more, and a lot of people not familiar with bitcoin will be flooding in. I just think that trust score alone isn't enough to thwart these scammers because a lot of people do NOT leave any trust, even after getting scammed. By disallowing them to self-moderate their threads, I think it will really help disrupt these scammers business since they won't be able to delete peoples negative reviews, and won't be able to exploit the system of updating to be most recent and locking and consistently doing that.
