Bitcoin is extremely volatile whilst gold is much far more secure. Gold is employed for a lot of issues while bitcoin is a currency. Gold has functional use and general is a lot greater than bitcoin. I mean bitcoin is a lot greater at being what is was produced for, transfer and so on but gold is going to remain important for a long time.
agreed bitcoin still fluctuates 15% on a normal day. Bitcoin has not yet been able to serve as a stable store of value because people didn't quite understand the technology so they easily get FUD. maybe in the future when many people finally understood bitcoin the price will be stable. then bitcoin can compete for gold about volatility.
