Putting an expensive rate would make your rental un-attractive and default to designated pools when not rented.
I got around to trying out a small test. After a bit of messing around I was able to get it going but unfortunately for each worker that I pointed to MRR it showed up as one working on nicehash. I pointed 5 rigs to MMR and 5 different workers showed up for cryptonight on nicehash so it is nice if you want to easily switch your miners from one pool to another with a few clicks but it still just shows up as individual miners and not just one giant more powerful miner. It was worth a shot.
