I'm reluctant to even post in this thread, as it's rapidly turning into a
mega shit post thread, but I would like to say that this gentleman probably
meant that if you belong to an exchange, you can sell bitcoin more rapidly
than gold.  There's no going to a coin store or wrapping up your gold to be
shipped on Ebay.  Boom, you get the cash in your account instantly and that's
the end of it.  I agree with that.

I also partially agree with your statement about gold's relevancy, though I
think that it's going to remain important for as long as man exists on this planet.
But comparing bitcoin to gold is just silly, and I'm tired of the threads that try
to do so.  They share some attributes but are totally different assets.  And
the bitcoin market is absolutely dwarfed by the gold market, which, as you said,
is in the trillions of dollars.
