No. You can send xxx Cloak to a wallet, then close it. When you switch it on after some time you'll get the share of the 6% yearly when your coins are staking.

Yes correct, if you did not stake your 1000 Cloak for 1 year, youll get 6% of that amount. i you stake it after 1/2 year you can expect half of the yearly amount. Depending on finding a POS block. you may need to keep your wallet up and in sync for a while then. The POS interest is paid only when you mint a POS Block.
Additional 6% of Cloak pos interest is a really good bonus for holders, because we will see price rising in the near future. Cloak development goes well and Cloak price will increase again and again with roadmap updates.
