Have been trying to purchase since day 1 and at last I get the congratulations green message on the 3rd day, then the website crashed and no coins were transferred to my account. Why did this happen ?

Do you still have the same amount of BTC? if no you might have to wait a little time. If yes, there might have been an issue with your purchase..

I did everything they gave us as tips to purchase. Opened up a few tabs clicked to buy when timer went to 0. Got a green congratulations message in one of the tabs, then website crashed in all tabs showing 502 and 522 errors. Managed to refresh the page 20 minutes later and 0 HomeBlockCoins in balance. BTC still there.
Why would I get the green congratulations message if its for absolutely nothing ? How are we supposed to buy this coin......
This is just going totally wrong from the start.
