because it sounds cool and it's an impressively high number. that's a great reason for coming up with any figure don't you think?
it's pretty crazy how huge bch is compared to this when you compare the levels of skill and vision. by next year bch will probably look even less convincing than it is now. i don't see why this can't take some of that thunder.
I really don't wanna argue with a positive outlook, but talking about such fix numbers in USD is really not reasonable and imho just BS and I don't see why anybody would post s.th. like this. Especially as long as don't even have a BTX/USD trading pair. So these predictions do also include a prediction about BTC.I was just keen to know if there is even any hard evidence or model or any reason (chart theory, values derived from metcalf's, whatever...) for giving such predictions. In such facts I would be very interested, but statements like "I see it being worth XXX Gummibears" on their own are not worth the bits they're encoded in.
