Surely they wouldn't display a mockup with the Amazon Echo on it if they didn't get the agreement from Amazon yet. Because to insinuate that without consent would be quite unprofessional (and unlawful), especially during a critical time as an ICO.

You mean, they have collaboration with Amazon already?
That picture doesn't mean anything and its been there from the beginning. I am certain they dont have a partnership with them since this would be a huge news everywhere.
