Yes, it's safe to invest in Bitcoin... but since investing in Bitcoin is an extremely high risk I would advise you to invest only what you can afford to lose. All the news you read out there about 'Bitcoin is a bubble' are pure speculation, all they wanted is to tax Bitcoin and/or regulate it.
