Defenition of racism:
"The belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others."

As any member of any race has the possibility of belonging to any religious group, stating any simple difference between 2 religious groups such as "gift giving" and calling it racist is inherently ignorant as the obvious is all religions consist of all races.
In simple terms: Races are not religions and religions are not races. Gift giving or not giving, is not racist.

Also:
