There's no minimum for getting POS reward. But it's advisable to have some, to get size-able reward back. The more coins yoou'll have, the sooner you'll get the reward. And, you can't adjust POS yourself, it's controlled by the network, according to weight, difficulty and blocks. Please see the announcement listing for details.
