Regarding your question, it is indeed a market correction. But I think it's temporary. Sometimes there is a whale that cashes out a big chunk of btc and that brings down the price and then panic ensues. Now the whale has the chance to buy cheap coins.
Since This Thread is created on the month of september maybe Those Time Markets Are aware of The incoming segwit2x and Fork. They Don't actually fall they Might be Preparing something so that they have to put adjustments on the Market before the Segwit occurs, But, Since eventually the segwit was cancelled then this will be no Problem anymore, Cryptopmarket will be back again to it's normal processing and function.
