It's nice to be able to think that in the next 10 years, the newcomers to this thread will view us too as elite.

Probably, well the only risks for me:
- most governments banning BTC (not likely, if there is too much money in cryptos, I doubt governments ban it, would rather could tax it)
- an altcoin overtaking BTC, this is the biggest risk IMO, I hope BTC constantly improves so that it can be able to keep the lead

otherwise, 10 years from now, it is not difficult to see a price of 100 000 or above.
This is a personal opinion and not a recommendation to buy.
Very much the chance of bitcoin can reach 100k if it's 10 years away, but I think, ideally bitcoin is no more than 30% of the total market cap, if bitcoin too dominate it can kill other coins and just wait time then users will get bored and eventually leave bitcoin.
