Yep and this news has had a major impact in the current bull run of altcoins and also bitcoin before a dump off. I really would expect the price of bitcoin to climb once again since now it is seen as one unified coin again.
It'll be extremely interesting to see how the price reacts to when segwit2x gets reannounced.
They're saying that it's just postponed, so not entirely cancelled.
It was postponed but it would still be implemented. Maybe there are some preparations being made for that fork and the segwit2x are gaining support from the community to full maximize the HF. And there are so many rumors of coming fork this december that will be making bitcoin silver.
I believe so that there will be pump again in the price of bitcoin. So hodl and trust bitcoin.
