Blockchain analysis has proven to be useful to exploit hacks and money laundering..

From this point of view it could be a deterrent to this kind of activities, in the other hand I strongly believe that we need privacy-oriented crypto. Maybe not for everyday use or business transparency but for c2c transactions and privacy focused comunities it is a must.
