I don't think bitcoin is going to crush anytime soon because the uses and investors are growing and even bitcoin is being innovated so that it is ready for such events. But still that doesn't mean will not crush anymore, we should still remember that it is decentralized so there would be some instances where it would crash and we could not bare handed stop it.
