I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.
Why would you need to exchange it for chips? Just bet with that when you deposit into casinos. That's quite easier than just converting to casino chips which is just an added step to your gambling.
Unless you are talking about real world casinos that would accept bitcoins in exchange for their chips. I don't think casinos in the real world would ever accept such.
We cannot say yet if they will or will not.
Some Casinos in the real world are beginning to consider this and if the scaling solution can be solved, then I see no reason why this should not be something they would embrace.
It is more like paying funds into the casino's wallet for chips and I do not see anything bad in that. Moreover there are services like Bitpay that would just convert that to cash immediately for the merchants or casinos in this context.
