Is there a link to old Qt client available somewhere?
Old QT wallet won't sync anymore...new wallets are NOT allowed to connect to it. So even IF somebody would give you an old QT wallet, you will never be able to send any coins with it.
I know, but I need it just to dump my private key as new client refuses to work with old wallet.dat.

I would post instructions if the problem was always the same but is not the case. You will need to check what the error message is in the debug.log and based on that I can resolve your problem. Join the ECC-slack
