I would buy it when bitcoin hits 1k at least because it is going to take a lot of your money. So it will stress you when you invest in bitcoin and see that it is dropping hard.
Thats why i will invest when bitcoin is back at 1k. This will not stress me because i have many btc then.
Its everey time relative, if you buy lots of btrc at 1k ist lost of money (well thats realtive to, for sure)
but like others told before you shpuld always buy in an uptrend and if you buy at 1k and it will be 2k you had 100% growth but also when you buy at 5k and maybe some time there will be 10 k
