Usually, they will take a look about traffic. I already join another youtube campaign before, and they paid me about 10 days after i post my video. They want look the traffic on your video. Correct me if im wrong.

1 day is enough to look the traffic on video tbh. even 12 hours is ebough.
And when the account is Newbie with no escrow I think payments must be sent ASAP

Seems a bit unfair to me if the video gets popular after 25 hours, but it was checked in the first 24 hours... Besides, it takes time to check whether the video's traffic is real or just a bunch of shitty bots.

And sure, it makes it fishy if a newbie doesn't send payment quickly, but I feel like it doesn't really make a difference if you look at each individual case. Getting it after a week or after 1 day... If you're not in urgent need of money, it shouldn't really matter.

It is just kinda less than I expected to get...

What did you expect to get then? You got 336 views on your video. 0.0035 BTC is more than $20, which means you got about 6 cents for every viewer.. That's Okay pay, I guess... As regular youtube ads definitely don't yield as much as that.
