That is pure bullshit. There are 2-3 developers that have never produced any worthwhile code for Bitcoin. In other words: There is no development team, there are a few children playing in the sand box.
.. producing shitty technobubbles like sipa and BMatt ? - Big Blocks can be coded by children - all what is needed. - keep the base protocol as simple as possible that others can build easy on top.
You seem to need some blinding to feel safe.
So in the future if some critical bug is found will they be able to fix it I mean they are not any kind of cryptographer so far all the work has been done by core with some amateur dev changing a few settings the only real bit of code that was added ended up being broken and required a HF to try and fix it and so far the new DAA although better than before is still far from perfect
Sure - there are different devs / teams (ABC, BU, nChain, ViaBTC ...) looking after - it's in strongest interest of all ppl running the infrastructure - e.g. miners at first place.
