don't go with an ico - you will loose money
how about something solid with a bright future, like SHIFT Coin?
Or learn how to pick good ICOs, then you won't lose any money. If you pick bad projects it won't matter if you invest during the ICO or afterwards, you will still lose.
ICO's almost always fall below the ICO price right after listing because bounties and bonusses get sold for a quick buck. The ones that don't are rare, and are often hyped a lot during the pre ICO phase like Red Pulse. If everything then goes well (unlike RPX) prices should keep rising after listing
So basically understanding ICOs very well brings quite a few different opportunities to make profits?
Yes. An ICO is a very high risk very high reward investment, mostly because of early-bird bonusses and extra rewards you can earn with bounties. A good example is the electroneum ICO. ICO price was about 0.0075$ (150 coins/1$), after listing it was 0.09, then it shot up to 0.23, and now it's still dropping hard. During that first period, the ICO was extremely profitable
