For me, bitcoin should circulate and not hold for a long time to make its price stabilized and make the e-commerce businesses accept payment in bitcoin. This is the very reason why bitcoin is made in the first place and I believe that all of free lancers and investors will benefit from this.
People are free to use Bitcoin how they want. Bitcoin isn't performing well enough to function as a currency tool that serves us in the exact way fiat is serving us. Currency needs to offer stability, usability and convenience.
Nothing beats fiat in these aspects. I pay for things instantly, for free, enjoy buyers protection, enjoy goods insurance. It's ultimate user satisfaction. Why would I feel tempted to spend Bitcoin?
Aside from all aforementioned aspects, we even before spending our Bitcoins know that the price will continue to increase, and thus know that we'll later surely regret having spent them to buy whatever goods.
Currency for me? No thank you.
