I don't know about you but if I were them, I'd be piecing together a board for testing if I had gotten chips and a pcb in hand.  I know that he was asking BKK about specific parts and what was available in quantity. Since they will be the first proxy testing for BKK's design, they have pledged to share all data with him to speed the completion of the project. The sooner the Klondike board is finished the sooner we can all hash with it.
