If you are looking for long term investment then I would suggest go with some coin that has already been around for some time and about which you know. ETH, ETC and LTC are good choices. Waves and ripple are good if you know enough about them. Just don't invest in some new shitcoin, it might just die in couple of months and you will have nothing.
