It is not helpful to decide either bitcoin or altcoins or always try to swap those.
Most people just lose trying to do it at wrong times. Just hold bitcoin and good altcoins
will keep you ahead in long term.
I agree. you should just take
small portion of your bitcoin and keep it in alts.. and then let those grow on their own while keeping bitcoin. basically 2 separate portfolios. manage them separately. instead of running back and forth between bitcoin and alts...
Of course its really good to diversify your porfolio. I have ETH and I'm happy that its mooning and I just check my wallet and I see good gains, but would rather hold because I have nothing to do with my funds and my ETH is just a few so I rather hold it. Bitcoin is safe as well, not selling for short term profits. But I see alts as a good for short term and day trading for most of us.
