My thoughts, exactly. I feel the same way as nickmayhem about it. I am definitely more than capable of developing a site for you with the features you listed, but 7-10 days would be extremely limiting and *most likely* wouldn't be feasible - at least not without bugs and especially not resulting in the fully developed, polished site that I'm sure you're hoping for. Same reason behind how the entire IT/tech industry has been migrating to the agile method for a while, now.

I may be interested in assisting you with developing this, potentially without the need for any compensation - the fact that I'd be able to add this to my resume/portfolio would be compensation enough. Unless you'd happen to feel so compelled to hook me up with a lil somethin' somethin' after all is said and done, that'd be cool too.

And regarding what Vod mentioned about likely needing at least two different developers to take on a project like this - I am a full stack dev experienced with developing both front-end as well as back-end. I've worked with many different languages, frameworks  , application packages, etc.. I know my way around the Adobe CS (Photoshop, etc), I've done a bit of graphic design and whatnot, the whole shabang.
