A 100x currency is not as easy as it used to be, with little money in the past, so a 100x is more likely, but now there are so many different types of coins that 100x is less likely.
Yeah you are right with this statement. But on the other hand there will always be hyped projects that can grow x100 if they have a low market cap when you pick them up and on top a relatively low total supply. If demand is there, a coin can still get x100. But you are definitely right that it is less likely than it was before and you have to be lucky to pick the winners. The number of new coins on the market every day can be overwhelming.
