I use Avira Antivir and used it for years, can really recommend it using the free version of it and works perfectly. Then complement with it with Malwarebytes. Feels like i have good protection and then i have limited user rights on my user account (on client) and limitiations in my network.

I'm working as an IT-specialist/developer and also coded malwares/virus (for educational purpose, in lab enviroment) myself, so i feel comfortable with my setup at the moment.
