I can't really justify why Doge is up. Generally the coin is a joke, and it's not me who is saying that but the creators of the coin itself. They were former IBM employees and said they created the coin out of fun and just cause it was amusing. It was so successful because it was created when not that many coins were around, but it represents something very important, and that is that crypto's can still be used for fun and for purposes that are not that serious. Personally I don't see how it can evolve because there no major updates coming from developers and everyone who is still holding some DOGE does so because it brings nostalgia and it was part of the entire cryptosystem some time ago, I'd sell if I were you.
