More importantly, for those of use considering fanless immersion approaches, will it boot and run with no fans detected (unplugged!)??

Unplugging after boot is an option too, but annoying for remote management.

I plan to test both scenarios soon, but i'm afraid to run it for even a few seconds with no air movement.  Don't have the oil bath built yet.

Hoping the firmware hacks are the solution, rather than the more involved hardware hacks to fake the fans.
