Might be obvious to us, but not to people like the topic starter fans are just a part of the equation. I've got 2-fan Palit GTX 1080 cards (Super Jetstream and Gamerock) and 3-fan Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1080 cards Palit are super quiet and cool, while Gigabytes are loud and hot. Gigabyte's coolers are so bad I'm not buying any of their higher-end Windforce cards ever again. So a triple-fan card might be a lot worse than a dual-fan card, the radiators are what matter the most.
I only have limited experience with cards (< 6 months) and have doubles and triples. I live in the tropics and the 2 fans had a bit of difficulty handling the heat (no AC). I bought the 3 fan Aorus to replace my Zotac and the cooling was 8-10c cooler. I bought some Gigabyte G1 triple fans and had the same result, much cooler at a lower fan rate. What 3 fan GPU's would you recommend (or even 2 fans) for tropical heat that would be better than the Aorus or G1s? Thanks for your consideration of this request.
