What would happen if someone using your wifi was to do something illegal on your wifi connection? Is the wifi owner liable for this? What security measures are in place to protect the sensitive data being used over someones wifi?
I also posed this question to myself and would be happy for an answer. As this is really relevant in my jurisdication, it could cause huge problems for individuals. Here nobody makes free wifi spots or the like, even in cafes they have mechanisms to protect their wifi.
