It is hard to predict what's gonna happen in 2-3 years but one thing is for sure, it is too early for btc to reach 100k$ in the future. I think it wont go up that much next year considering it has been going up a lot recently. It would not be healthy for bitcoin to have continuous price growth, if it continues as is next year, I am sure we will see another big dump by 2019 or maybe earlier than it. The best thing to do for now is to hodl and wait for the right time to sell.
