Re: Why do people kill for religion?

We are all witness of recent events, war, killings, and terrorism claiming they are doing it for their god. What do you think of this belief?
Because they have there own faith so that they kill for there religion so that as a christian i will protect my religion for enemy because i know God is with me anytime that we are.

It's because of blindly following a certain religion or following a charismatic teaching that serves only the leader's purpose. Religion can be interpreted in many different ways so before we foolishly kill or act violently towards people of a different religion, we have to first ask ourselves if that's really what its meant. Perhaps that way we'd be living in a more peaceful world
Look at the Egyptian Mosque bombing for example, what i heard is that it was committed but Islamic extremists. I wonder why terrorists even though they are muslims would choose to attack other muslims in the first place, what would they seek to kill members of the same religion. I thought they killed only non muslims.
